This bank of snowdrops was discovered on a local walk – there literally was not a space between the blooms, pure magic.

A huge big Welcome to March xx

A month brim full of the signs of Spring and the beginnings of lighter. warmer days….

This bank of snowdrops was discovered on a local walk – there literally was not a space between the blooms, pure magic.

Unfortunately though, as I write my newsletter this month, the World still seems to be in great turmoil and my heart and thoughts are with the Ukrainian people and all those involved and caught up in the terrible situation unfolding in Europe. I sincerely hope any of you reading this are safe, happy and surrounded by love from your friends and families. We are all stronger together xx

Workshops

In my Studio I have created a wall of photographs of the ‘makes’ to help inspire ideas and show the designs that have been made, often by complete beginners to glass fusing and I am adding to this every time. It really is turning into quite a piece of artwork and may even fill the whole wall eventually! Each and every picture is a lovely reminder of my wonderful customers who are supporting me and my business and the pictures inspire me too in continuing to experiment and develop my designs too xx

If you would like to book a workshop or want to find out more, please phone or message me and I will happily give you more information or book you in. I can accommodate up to 4 people at a time and am continuing to make my bookings for family or friends groups – you will not be with people you don’t know xx You pick the date, check it’s available by giving me a text or call and I book you in and send detailed instructions and confirmation.

New Designs

I am currently working on some new designs especially for some of the shows and markets I will be attending this year.

On the 19th and 20th March I will be heading to The Thriplow Daffodil Festival. My daffodils will be of the glass variety but the whole village opens for the weekend as a charity event to raise funds but most importantly, show off the thousands of daffodils.

Thriplow Daffodil Weekend started in 1969 when the church needed major roof repairs. Residents decided to raise funds by opening their gardens and making cups of tea for their visitors.

Little Lime Design - Workshops

They made an amazing £206 and were so delighted they decided to do it all again the following year – and so the Thriplow Daffodil Weekend was born and is still going strong 53 years later!

Thriplow Daffodil Weekend & Country Fair has now become a traditional country fair providing true family entertainment in a beautiful village setting. Live music, Crafts and Artisans, Morris Dancing, Open Gardens, Punch and Judy, Dog show, Tractor rides, Street Food stalls, Beer tent and loads more all in a little village just off the A505. If you fancy a lovely day out just check out their details online – tickets can be purchased before the event and it promises to be a truly great day.

Langham Handmade Fair

Langham Handmade Fair takes place on the 12th March. Artists and craftspeople from the local area will be attending – all items are made by hand and you will be able

to meet the makers and find out more about how they make their pieces. Held at the Langham Community Centre, near Colchester, from 10am until 3pm, Indoor and outdoor stalls, workshop sessions available to book, free entry and parking and tea and cake – sounds like a perfect day 🙂

Langham Handmade Fair

The Monthly Boxford Farmer’s and Craft Market takes place on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 1pm. The March market will be on the 27th. Each month, new businesses are joining the fun creating a really lovely mix of foodie goodies and handmade crafts. Everybody is welcome and wonderful quality food and craft items are always available – hope to see you there.

Make of the Month

My make of the month this month has been chosen because the subtle colour and design of the flowers is just beautiful. I love it and the little bee included just makes me smile. The piece was made by one of my customers who attended with her Mum as a girly treat. I must have the most wonderful job as I get as much fun from the sessions as the customers do – Love it xx

Wishing you a very happy and safe March x See you next month xx
