Welcome to the launch of my New Colour Collection for Spring
Subtle shades and hints of pink, purple, grey, coral and ivory feature in my glass designs this season.
For those of you looking for a handmade gift for Valentines Day or Mothering Sunday or just thinking about gifts for Birthdays and Spring weddings, I hope these colour combinations will appeal. I love the way these colours work together – subtle pastel shades and yet still able to stand proud amongst the other primary colour ranges I use in my pieces. I’m already thinking one of my lanterns made with these colours would create a wonderfully romantic piece for a wedding gift – Ianterns make a really personalised home gift and can be created using the colours of the bridal flowers, please do contact me if you would like more details or wish to commission a make.
I can use this colour range on any of my pieces. I have shown it here on large and small Framed Suncatchers and Hanging Hearts – perfect presents for this time of year. My Framed Suncatchers look best standing on a window sill or under a table lamp, anywhere in fact, where light can shine through and accentuate the colours in the frame. The Hearts are designed to hang in a window to catch the light and come complete with hanging ribbon. Each of my glass pieces remain completely unique because of the handmade nature of my work. Each piece here has been made using the same colours and additions but however hard I try, I’m unable to create two identical – I think this is one of the features that makes my glass so special – you will always be buying a one-off piece of art from me, a piece that no one else will have or that I can ever replicate. Now that really is special gifting 🙂
